How Do I Clean Windows? How To Naturally Clean Your Windows.

Summer is the optimal season for cleaning your windows as the daylight lasts longer and the weather welcomes spending time outdoors. How do I clean windows you ask?

Although it seems there are a million and one different solutions for a natural window cleaning product, we thought it was time to spill the beans on our technique. From our experience, there is no need for a toxic household window spray, or a squeegee.

How Do I Clean Windows?

 

What you’ll need: dish soap, white vinegar, lemon, water & 2 glass cleaning cloths

We always mix two separate solutions into two different spray bottles:

Solution One:  1/2 cup dish soap + 2 cups water

Solution Two: 1 cup white vinegar + 4 cups water + 1 lemon fully squeezed of juice

First we use solution one with a dry, clean glass cloth followed by solution two with the second glass cloth. We find that the trick to truly clean windows is using the dish soap first to cut through grime, and then the vinegar and lemon solution to add shine and lustre.

When washing your windows remember to always wipe horizontally inside, and vertically outside. This little tip will get leave your windows streak free and spotless.
